Raised on Minnesota’s Great Plains amidst first-generation grit, Bryan is rooted in self-driven initiative and relentless curiosity. His upbringing in an immigrant family taught him to lead with empathy and determination, driven by a desire to find solutions that positively impact people and the planet.
Bryan began his academic career at the University of Minnesota, majoring in Mechanical Engineering while simultaneously taking Design Fundamentals. After a semester, he realized his creativity had grown beyond the rigid walls of engineering and had evolved into a more holistic understanding and appreciation of our built environment. Bryan’s drive to find his passion led him to Awaken Architecture and Kaleidoscope, where he designs and develops real estate housing solutions that are rooted in equity and sustainability—ensuring every project contributes to a healthier planet and more inclusive communities for generations to come.
When not in the office, Bryan remains active by backpacking in the mountains of Wyoming, hunting across the Midwest prairies, cycling on endless roads, and weightlifting with friends and family. After all, he believes healthy and responsive architecture derives from a healthy mind and body.
